Media Arts explores the creation and communication of ideas through film, television, radio, print, gaming and digital media. Students examine how media both reflects and shapes society's values, attitudes and beliefs. They develop the knowledge and skills to create engaging media products while becoming ethical and responsible users of digital technologies. Students also consider the social, environmental and legal implications of media production and digital communication.

Str​ucture

Media Arts in Practice is a four-unit course of study. This syllabus contains four QCAA-developed units as options for schools to combine in any order to develop their course of study.​
