The School Council is responsible for approving the school’s strategic direction as set out in the Annual Operation Plan and Budget. The School Council advises on the strategic direction of the school, matters of policy, monitoring progress towards agreed goals and reporting these to the wider school community and Education Queensland. Appointed members retain their position for 2 consecutive years to ensure the continuity of the School Council. In any year where new nominations are required a returning officer is appointed a Notice of Election is given via our college newsletter, website and QSchools app.

Burpengary State Secondary College School Council
The Council consists of student, staff, parent and community representatives. The College Principal and the Parent and Citizens Association President are automatic members of the Council. The elected members of the Council are:
