Enrolment Process – Step by Step
Step 1: Check Your Address

Step 2: Prepare Supporting Documents - additional forms here
Please gather the following documents:
- Child's Birth Certificate (or Passport and Visa, if applicable)
- Most recent School Report
- Parent/Carer identification – 100 points of ID
- Proof of Residency (2 items):
- One must be a rates notice or lease agreement
- One must be a recent utility bill (e.g., electricity, gas, or phone)
- Any relevant Court Orders
Step 3: Complete Additional Forms -
These are essential to finalise your application and include:
- State School Consent Form
- Student Code of Conduct agreement form
- Chaplaincy Consent
- Student Resource Scheme Form
- Enrolment Agreement
- USI form
Step 4: Submit Your Application
- Complete the forms and email to enrolments@burpengaryssc.eq.edu.au with all supporting documentation or
- Complete the forms and return to the administration office between the hours of 8.00am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
What Happens Next?
Once your application has been reviewed, our Enrolment Officer will contact you with the next steps. Please note:
You and your child will be required to attend an enrolment interview with a member of our Leadership Team before they can commence.

This online form is only an expression of interest in enrolling your child at Burpengary State Secondary College. Submission of this form does not constitute enrolment into this College. An Enrolment Management Plan (EMP) is in place for Burpengary State Secondary College, with a corresponding boundary
catchment map.
Students who do not permanently reside within the catchment area, will be placed on a waiting list and will be assessed according to the criteria set out in the
Enrolment Management Plan. Contact will be made with parents/carers to notify of the result of this assessment.
The Department of Education through Burpengary State Secondary College is collecting personal information in accordance with the
Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 in order to register your interest in enrolling your child to attend school. The information will only be accessed by employees of the Department of Education. The information will not be given to any other person or agency unless prior consent is obtained.
