Subject description
The media is a powerful entity which plays a significant role within society. It's about actively engaging with media practice, theory and production. Media is about working within the industry, and requires skills like good project management and critical thinking.
Studying media helps students gain an understanding of how media surrounds our society and has an impact on almost every aspect of our lives. Along with equipping students with the technical capabilities needed for their craft such as storyboarding, filming and editing techniques, students will learn a range of skills such as analysis and critical thinking techniques.
