​Sport & Recreation enables students to engage in sport and recreation activities to experience and learn about the role of sport and recreation in their lives, the lives of others and the community.

​​Asse​ssment

​Four formative assessments are completed in Units 1 and 2. In Units 3 and 4, students complete four summative assessments. Students have opportunities in Units 1 and 2 to experience and respond to the types of assessment they will encounter in Units 3 and 4. 

For Sport and Recreation, assessment from Units 3 and 4 are used to determine the student’s exit result, and consists of four instruments from the assessment techniques:

  • Two projects
  • Two investigations
